Halloween Time

I love halloween. I especially love all of the TV shows and movies that come on. Horror flicks are one of my favorite types of movies.

I even like all of the cute little Disney channel movies that come on. I saw one last night called "Twitches". It's about two twin witches. It was a really cute movie. "Twitches II" is coming on tonight.

We decorated the house really cute. We have spider webs all over the place. We have a cauldron full of candy, we carved pumpkins and made a halloween ginger bread house too. The outside is all decorated as well.

I have never done so many decorations for halloween I don't think, but I have really enjoyed it.  I hope you all have had as much fun as we have.

Boo!

I love Halloween. I think that this year I am going to try and be a "dark princess". It's kinda like a witch except prettier. Leo is going to be a pumpkin and Kc is going to be a spider.

Hubby keeps changing his mind on if he is going to dress up or not.He better hurry up and decide because I am not going to help him run around and pick a costume really quick at the last minute.

I hope everyone enjoys their halloween. I know we will. I'll try and get some pictures up some time soon after we go trick or treating.

Ankle Bruiser

I have come to the firm conclusion that the absolute most dangerous thing, to the ankles of a parent (and possibly a grandparent) of a nine month old child, are walkers.

You know what I'm talking about. The little seats for our babies, that let them "Flintstone" around the house. Those things kill!

Yeah, it's cute and the babies love being mobile, but this is your fair warning; Wear shoes, big ones that have alot of sole! Or else...

Beef Cake

Leo has not yet had anything other than his Oreo to eat, but I am still hopeful. It truely shocks me that he can be as fat as he is just from formula.

Casey was lactose intolerant and we didn't find out until he was nearly twelve months old. So, he never really got to be a big fatty. But even though Leo was 4 weeks early he has always been a decent weight. Starting at 5:14 when he was born and now weighing only about five pounds less than his brother at twenty pounds.

He seems to pack most of his weight in his beefy legs. When he was about 7 months we gave him a jumper and that seem to have given him hulk legs.

We will see if we can't get him to eat more over the coming days. Ya'll pray he strikes up an appitite for the hard foods.

One Horrible Night

Last night was horrible! We started trying to put Casey to bed at about 8:30. He screamed and screamed and screamed. Then he was quiet fo about ten minutes so, we thought he must be asleep. This in mind we head off to bed as well.

As soon as we open the door, it starts all over again. But we think "okay. Well, if we go to bed he will go to bed." Not even close. He would not stay in his own bed and kept trying to get into ours. We probably took him and put him back into his own bed at least 50 times.

Finally I say the heck with it, and let him come get in bed with us. My intention was to let him fall asleep and then just move him over to his bed. Well, a half hour passes by and he is out. So I slowly creep off the bed and slowly and quietly carry him over to his bed. I'm all the way there and he is still asleep and as I go to lay him down his eyes shoot open. He starts screaming...

I try and stay next to his bed until he falls asleep. I try letting him up to have a snack. I try letting him have a juice. I try letting him watch TV. Nothing worked. So last night Casey won. He slept perfectly content in between Mommy and Daddy.

Brat Brat

My nicname for my oldest is "Brat Brat" and my goodness, if he isn't a huge ole' brat. He will be completely a mommy's boy one minute and the next he'll beat you up if you dare try and take him from his daddy. I am guessing that all babies are like this.

Even at this moment I am trying desperately to write this post, but I am having the hardest time, because my little Brat Brat is making me hold him with one hand. I even tried annoying him until he just didn't want to sit with me any more. That REALLY didn't work because then I just had one really cranky annoyed baby on my lap.

Tell me if any of you have any ideas for the cranky baby....
It will be much appreciated.
