Mommy Mumbles

Super Husband

Yesterday was one of those days when my husband was wonderful.

As ya’ll know we are having financial problems and I think that it really hit him yesterday. The night before last my husband went to his janitorial job from 5:30 at night until 9:00 that night. Then he went to his McDonald’s job from 9:30 until 6:00 the next morning.

When he woke up at 11:00, having only had about 5 and a half hours sleep, he went to his janitorial job again until 2:00. Then he took me around town for about an hour, so I could do a little work for my Avon business and took me and the kids home. By this point he was a walking zombie, but listen to what else my sweet heart did.

He went and mowed two peoples lawns so that we can get some more cash. After that he watched the kids, while I got dressed to go to my best friends birthday party.

Well, last minute me and my sister needed to go to the store to buy my best friend a gift. We are off, leaving Ray with the responsibility of watching, cleaning up and dressing the kids: all while he had to dress and shower him self as well.

So now we were all at the birthday party and he had been doing a super job with the kids. Ten minutes after me and my sister got there he left to go back to work at McDonald's until twelve that night.

That is what I call Super Husband.

Husbands

Husbands can REALLY get on your nerves, can't they???

My husband and I had an argument this afternoon, because I had told him several things and he had took them to mean something completely different.

He tells me:
" I listened, I did! I just listened the wrong way."

Apparently there is more than just one way to listen.
I wonder if I could hire a translator for us...

MONEY!

Our family is going through a really bad financial time, of which I'm sure that most families are as well, right now.

We are doing everything we can, to keep from having to sell our trailer and move in with my dad; all four of us. He has a full house as it is. I really hope we can pull out out of this.

My husband has been laid off of three jobs in the last eight months. His second job isn't giving him any hours. But we have hope. He has a new day job and a new night job set up. We just have to make it through the next month of those jobs starting and paychecks being held.

I have also started selling Avon. If anyone would like to purchase some products let me know! : ) I'll put all my info on the bottom of this post. Ya'll pray for us.

Merry CHRISTmas!!!

Merry CHRISTmas!!!
I hope that everyone is enjoying their holidays and I also pray, that everyone is remembering what this season is truly about.

Everyone has gotten so wrapped up in the gift-giving and Santa and all of the other novelties of Christmas, that no one seems to remember that this is a wonderful celebration of the birth of our wonderful savior Christ.

While you are opening your present, keep in mind that this represents the three wise men and the gifts they brought to our savior when he was born.

And as your children "O" over all their toys, remind them of what this day is about and spread the word of our Lord through our chilren, so that they may grow up to do the same.

Let us not forget what CHRISTmas is!

God Bless everyone and enjoy your holidays.

"ligament pain"

Update on my last post: it looks like Kc is lactose intolerant and that is where all his horrible poop problems have been coming from. But at least now we know the problem and the solution and it looks like we are heading in the right direction.

As I am pretty sure I told you before, I have a 10 month old and I am about 7 months pregnant. Well, for me at least, my body has just said "what the heck", and refused to work with me.

I was at the hospital tonight (for the third time between me and Kc in only a week and a half), and found out that I have a horrible UTI that is just refusing to go away.

My body was already having a really hard time with ligament pain, due to the fact that my pregnancies were right on top of each other, but apparently when you have a UTI it can make the pain sooo much worse.

Well, thank God that I have such wonderful family, because there is no way I could make it through this by myself. Not only have I been unable to get around for Kc, but for myself as well. I had to come to the realisation today, that I can not be super Mommy like I think I should be able to.

My husband, myself, and Kc now are staying with my Mom and Dad. I am on bed rest for now. And my Mom(Oma) has taken on all of my resposibilities until I am able again. That means she is doing our laundry, cooking for us, and the biggest of all, is taking care of Kc all day until his Daddy gets home to take over.

Please pray for my wonderful Mom and Dad. They need it with all the stress we add to them. And hopefully I can get over this infection and back on my feet soon.

God Bless You all.

Sick

Kc is sick. He has been having diahrea for a couple of days now and while at first it seemed to get better, it's not really. And oh my goodness, his poor little behind is just so flared up.

I called the doctor's nurse this morning and she suggested to give Kc cow milk, since that contains much more less lactose than the powdered baby milk he has been drinking. That kind of relieved me, but only for a little while. He is not doing any better and my concerns are growing.

We will wait till Daddy gets home and take Kc to the hospital. Better safe then sorry!

Complete Frustration

First off, Hi I'm Mommy.
I  am happily married for what will be 2 years next September.

We live in Alabama close to our families. I am 7 months pregnant with my second boy and my husband and I already have been blessed (even though sometimes it feels like cursed) with a beautifully healthy boy Kc.

He turned 10 months today. And it appears that our terrible twos have started WAY to early. He just HAS to get his way and if not, well then you better get you a nice pair of ear plugs.

It seems like the only time he is just truly content is when he is eating!

He is an extremly good boy. very sweet, loving, gentle, and extremely sensitive to your emotions.

I just don't know what to do with all these tempertantrums.

MY PROFILE
Name: Mommy
Location: Lower Alabama
I am Married(Daddy)with a beatiful baby boy,Kc, and another on the way(Leo). So I am a mother of three :)I have another nonbialogical child, ChelC, who is staying with our family now. The funny thing is I am only 20 and she just turned 18, but none the less still one of my babies. I have a wonderful, strong, and supporting family. Oma(Mom), Opa(Dad), and Aunt Amby(my older sister). We are very close. My sister and I both call my poor Dad probably 10 times a day each...He has really helped us both through so much. And my Mom, which is technically a step-mom, but there is no step to it really, also helps me alot in knowing how to care and raise Kc which is something I couldn't do with out. My sister, oddley enough, Is the nag: ) She loves me soooo much she calls to nag and make sure that I am doing what I need to, but secretly I love that. She is just a big worrier, which I think is just really cute. But she is also a really good friend and would give me anything I needed at anytime. My intire family is like that really. My husband and I have been married about a year and a half now and I could not ask for a better one. He works his butt off taking care of his family, maybe a little stuburn at times, but still a very good Daddy and husband. And me...well I have always been the wild one, but I have calmed down and now i think I am really getting a hang of this wife\mommy\daughter\sister thing. Because regaurdless of what I would have like to believe the world doesn't revolve around me. But I really think I like this better.
